One of the ways to get a job in a PSU is by giving the GATE Exam. The GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is National Level Post – Graduate entrance exam in Engineering and Architecture. GATE essentially examines the candidate’s acumen in subjects related to Engineering, Technology and Architecture. The GATE score is a ticket for admissions to post graduate courses such as M.E., M.Tech and Direct Ph.D.

The GATE score is used by centrally funded Indian Institutes of higher education (Institutes which are given financial support by MHRD and other Government Institutions). GATE score card is also used by the Public and Private Sector Undertakings for recruiting candidates for their organisations. The GATE is one of the most complex examinations in the engineering field and most students dread taking it.
