Quick answer: The Carter’s Credit Card is issued by Comenity Capital Bank, part of Bread Financial. Manage the account and pay your bill through the Comenity account centre at comenity.net. For anything account-specific, use the number printed on the back of your card; Bread Financial’s general line is 888-819-1918.
Last verified: 10 September 2026. The issuer and the account portal were checked against Carter’s own credit card pages and Comenity/Bread Financial on this date. Card terms are set by the issuer and can change without notice — confirm anything specific to your account with the issuer directly.
A Correction to an Earlier Version of This Page
An earlier version of this article listed 877-321-8509 as the Carter’s card service number. That number belongs to the Academy Sports credit card, not to Carter’s, and it has been removed. Use the number printed on the back of your own card, which always routes to the correct team.

About the Card
The Carter’s Credit Card is a store card for shoppers at Carter’s and OshKosh B’gosh, issued by Comenity Capital Bank. Comenity is the consumer credit arm of Bread Financial, so you will see both names — the account pages sit on comenity.net while the company brands itself as Bread Financial.
The card is built around retailer perks and promotional offers. As with any store card, those are worth having only if the balance is cleared in full each month, because retail cards carry high variable interest rates that outweigh the rewards on any carried balance. We have not quoted a rate here: retail APRs are variable and a figure published in an article goes out of date quickly, so rely on your cardholder agreement and statement.
How to Log In and Manage Your Account
Registering for Online Access
- Go to comenity.net and choose to register or set up online access.
- Enter your account number and the identifying details requested, typically your date of birth, the last four digits of your Social Security number and your ZIP code.
- Create a username and password and set your security questions.
- Confirm your email address so statements and alerts reach you.
Signing In
- Open comenity.net.
- Enter your username and password.
- Complete the one-time passcode step if you are prompted for one.
Login Problems and How to Fix Them
- Details rejected: they must match exactly what the bank holds. An old ZIP code from a previous address is the most common mismatch.
- Forgot username or password: use the recovery links beneath the sign-in form and complete the verification steps.
- Account locked: repeated failed attempts lock access, and this cannot be reset from the login page. Call the number on the back of your card.
- Page will not load: clear cache and cookies, try another browser, and switch off any VPN — banking portals routinely block VPN traffic.
How to Pay Your Bill
- Online: sign in at comenity.net and use the payment option on your dashboard. Setting autopay to the full statement balance prevents late fees and interest together.
- By phone: call the number printed on the back of your card and follow the prompts, with your account and bank details ready.
- By mail: send a cheque or money order — never cash — with your account number on it, to the remittance address printed on your current statement. Addresses change, so do not reuse one from an old bill or another website. Allow seven to ten days.
Make Sure You Are on the Real Login Page
- Type the address yourself. Reach comenity.net from your own bookmark or the address bar, not from a link in an email, text or advertisement.
- Never share a one-time passcode, your full card number or your password with anyone who contacted you. Hang up and call the number on your card.
- No legitimate lender collects by gift card, wire transfer or payment app. That tell identifies a scam on its own.
- Avoid signing in on public Wi-Fi — see our guide on whether a Wi-Fi network is secure, and our safe online shopping guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who issues the Carter’s credit card?
Comenity Capital Bank, part of Bread Financial.
Where do I log in to my Carter’s credit card?
Through the Comenity account centre at comenity.net.
What is the Carter’s credit card phone number?
Use the number printed on the back of your card, which routes to the right team. Bread Financial also runs a general line on 888-819-1918. Note that 877-321-8509, which some sources list, is the Academy Sports card number and not Carter’s.
Where can I use the card?
At Carter’s and OshKosh B’gosh stores and their websites.
What interest rate does the card charge?
It is a variable rate set by the issuer, so check your cardholder agreement and statement rather than a figure quoted in an article.
Conclusion
The Carter’s Credit Card is issued by Comenity Capital Bank under Bread Financial, managed at comenity.net. For anything specific to your account, use the number on the back of your card rather than one found in a search result — as the correction above shows, published numbers for store cards are frequently wrong.
